Founded in 1978, Traveling Jewish Theatre seeks to reach people from all cultural backgrounds by creating and presenting theater that shares the Jewish vision of tikkun olam, or healing of the world. The Walter & Elise Haas Fund supported the New Artists Initiative, which brought enabled younger artists to transition to leadership roles within the ensemble company.
