If satisfied that your program is a good fit and meets the Fund’s eligibility requirements, complete and submit a Letter of Inquiry. Letters of Inquiry are the preferred form of initial contact, and we have provided a format that can be submitted electronically or printed and sent by mail. Please make sure that the Letter of Inquiry addresses the following:
A brief description of the project or program, and funding needed, including the project's intended goals and outcomes, constituents served, and methods to be used to achieve desired results. Note other potential and confirmed sources of financing for the project. |
| |
Brief information about the applicant organization and its capacity to carry out the project/program. |
| |
A brief narrative overview of the organization's current financial situation, including mention of major sources of support for the organization as a whole. |
| |
Staff members review letters of inquiry on an ongoing basis. In most cases, applicants will hear within six weeks about whether to submit additional information or a more detailed proposal.
| |
Reminder: A full proposal should not be submitted without an invitation from the Fund.
