In this section of our web site, we provide a step-by-step guide to the Fund's grant application process. It begins with ensuring that your organization/program fits well with the Fund's priorities, and that you meet minimum eligibility requirements. We then direct you to our Letter of Inquiry form, which can be submitted to us electronically. We have also provided the guidelines for submitting a full proposal, if requested by one of the Fund's program officers. We highly recommend that you review these steps in order. Fit The Fund receives a large number of requests for many worthwhile projects and organizations. The process is very competitive. Learn if your project fits with the Fund's priorities		Eligibility Applicant organizations, or their sponsors, must have non-profit tax status to be eligible for consideration. The Fund also limits its work geographically and does not fund certain types of activities. Before going any further, make sure your organization and project are eligible to receive a grant from the Haas Fund		Letter of Inquiry The Letter of Inquiry (LOI) is the preferred form of initial contact with the Fund.
